EG-Docs Editor runs on Windows 10 and 11. Download the latest installer from the official website and run it. The app requires no additional dependencies — everything is bundled.
Click the Download button on the homepage. The installer is approximately ~247 MB.
Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. The app will install to your Program Files directory.
Open EG-Docs Editor from the Start Menu or desktop shortcut. You’ll see the sign-in screen — create a free account or sign in to start your 3-day free trial.
When you launch the app for the first time, you’ll be greeted by a branded sign-in dialog. Here’s what you can do:
After signing in, your session is saved — the app will auto-sign you in on future launches.
Tip: Check “Stay signed in” to skip the login screen on future launches.

When you import images, a categorization dialog will ask you to classify each file as a Photo or Document. You can apply the same choice to all remaining files for batch imports.
Here’s a quick workflow to get you started:
Press Ctrl+O or click the import button on the Home tab. Select a photo or document scan.
Switch to the Photos or Documents tab. Use the sliders and tools in the right panel to adjust brightness, contrast, crop, or remove the background.
Use the layout panel to arrange photos on a page. When ready, click Export or press Ctrl+P to print.
